Directions from NORTH SCOTLAND ( VIA STIRLING A9 )
1. From the North on the A9 head for Stirling, head into town.
2. Find the A811, head for Drymen , Balloch , Loch Lomond & Glasgow.
3. Stay on the A811, passing Gargunnock, Kippen, Buchlyvie, Drymen, Gartocharn.
4. As you reach the edge of Balloch the Speed limit will change to 40 mph.5. At the next roundabout turn Left onto the A813 for Jamestown and Bonhill. You are About 1.2 Mile away from Sunnyside!6. Just under a mile further down the road you will approach a small roundabout, go Straight on. We are about 200 mtrs on the Left. Please park on the Right Hand side.
Directions from NORTH A82.
1. A82 at the " Stoney Mollan" Roundabout. Turn LEFT For Balloch & Stirling on the A811.
2. At the next Roundabout ( approx 500 Mtrs away) head Straight over.
3. At the next roundabout ( within a mile) turn Right on the A813 for Jamestown and Bonhill. You are About 1.2 Mile away from Sunnyside!

Directions by Train
From Glasgow’s QUEENS STREET STATION catch the Balloch Train ( Lower Level).Depart the train at Alexandria station (last before Balloch) and head Right, walking down the footpath. Cross over the main road. Walk towards Bonhill bridge. Walk over the bridge ( if you have not walked over a river you are not heading in the correct direction) and at the T Junction, turn Left (for Balloch and Jamestown). We are about a 5 minute walk away and are on the Right hand side of the road.
From Airport with no Hire Car.
There is a Bus / Train enquiry office inside Glasgow Airport, near Luggage Carousel ( not easily seen as it is at the back)From Glasgow Airport take the express Coach Service 950 Stance number 4 ( every 1/2 hour). Ask the driver to tell you when you get to Queen st railway station. ( Glasgow)You need a ticket to Balloch and then find the lower level train platform. Make sure you get the Balloch train. You can get off at Alexandria or Balloch

Terms and Conditions
Sunnyside Classic VW Camper Hire is a subsidiary company of Sunnyside B&B. We aim to provide you the customer an unrivalled camping experience and level of service befitting the quality of our Camper vans. Unfortunately as with any business we have some terms and conditions that have to be published and accepted so as to protect you the customer and us the hire company.
Our philosophy is that these vans have survived over 40 and 50 years and given good service to many previous owners, we as a company do not wish to let the side down and spoil your experience of both the glorious 60's & 70's mode of transport and your experience of beautiful Scotland or anywhere else you might choose to travel.
Our terms and conditions:
Glossary of words used.
"Us" meaning Sunnyside Classic VW Camper Hire and any part there of.
"You" meaning the person or persons making the booking and the responsible person who has signed the acceptance of the Terms and Conditions and or who has paid the deposit or part or full payment of the booking total.
"The Van or vehicle or Camper" is the camper van you are interested in or have hired including all parts, additions, extras, tools and utensils
contained in or on the camper van.
Your Contract with Sunnyside Campers
Your Contract will come into immediately after we send you the Booking Confirmation, unless You contact us to advise of an incorrect statement in the Booking Confirmation, in which case Your Contract will come into effect immediately after we send You a revised Booking Confirmation. Please collect your vehicle after 10-30am on the day of hire. The return time should be no later than 14:00/2pm on the day your hire ends. Drivers must be between 25 and 75 years of age and have had their licence at least 2 years. At the time of booking Sunnyside Campers MUST be informed of any convictions or endorsements on your driving licence whether present or pending. We must also be informed of your occupation (for insurance purposes). Each driver must bring with them BOTH parts of driving licence, photo ID , a recent letter/utility bill with address on and a method of paying the fully refundable security deposit of between £500-£750 and could be more depending on your driving history. Transactions may also take up to 10 days to be processed back to you following the refund processed on the termination of your hire. If You breach any of the provisions of the Contract, we reserve the right to terminate the Contract with immediate effect without prejudice to any right of action we may have against You in respect of Your breach of such provisions of the Contract.
1.0.0 Booking and Payments
1.1.1 In order to book a Campervan with us, You must complete an Insurance Proposal & Booking Information Form
1.1.1 Your Deposit is due to be paid to us before confirmation can be sent by e-mail. If we do not receive your deposit we reserve the right to cancel your enquiry or booking. Although we will attempt to e-mail you of the cancelation we except no responsibility if you do not receive or act on the e-mail sent to you.
1.1.2 If booking on line we will make contact with us as soon as your deposit payment has cleared so as to clarify insurance details.
1.2.1 The balance of the Hire Price must be paid a minimum of 6 weeks before the start of the Hire Period. If we do not receive the balance of the Hire Price by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and, in the event that we do so, you agree that we may retain Your Deposit. If the start of the Hire Period is less than 6 weeks from the date of the Booking Confirmation, the whole of the Hire Price is payable before we will send You your Booking Confirmation.
2 We can accept payment by most major credit and debit cards (please ask if you have any doubt whether we accept your credit or debit card). If paying the deposit, security deposit, balance of bill or any other payment which is due and covered by these terms and condition, then you authorise us to take payments from your card. Payments taken from your debit/credit card are subject to the laws of Scotland and to protect you are always subject to reversals in accordance with your banks /card provider’s terms and conditions. We can not accept PayPal payments
3 We do not accept payment by cheque.
4. Booking Deposit is the amount to pay if you are booking more than 6 weeks in advance and is £100.
5 Booking Balance is the remainder of the payment and must be paid 6 weeks before your hire date.
6 Security Deposit is Paid at the start of your hire period and returned 10 days after the return of the camper subject to conditions as laid out is paragraph 6.0.0. We can not except cheques or PayPal payments.
2.0.0 Cancellation of Your Booking
2.1.1 If you cancel your booking with us, the following charges will apply:
2 If you cancel more than 6 weeks before the start of the Hire Period your £100 deposit is retained by us and there is no further charge or liability on, for or by you.
3 Not used.
4 If you cancel less than 6 weeks before the start of the Hire Period, there is no refund of any monies paid by you. You are liable for the full cost of the hire.
5 If we cancel you’re booking with us for any reason that is attributable to us or caused by us then You will be entitled to a full refund of all sums paid to us. However, we shall have no other liability to you.
6 We reserve the right to cancel Your booking with us if, upon presentation of the Driver and/or Additional Driver’s driving licences to us at the start of the Hire Period, the driving licence(s) is/are invalid or do not correspond with the details noted on the Insurance Proposal form, and we shall be entitled to charge You the whole of the Hire Price. Failure to produce valid proof od address will mean the immediate termination of the hire contract unless alternative proof can be obtained from the internet
7 If any charges due by you are greater than the amount of the hire cost or deposit, then we shall retain the whole of the Deposit /balance payment and seek an additional payment from you for the balance of the amount owed to us.
3.1.0 The Hire Price includes comprehensive insurance. Please note that you are not covered for:
1 Any claim where the Campervan was being used in contravention of these Terms and Conditions;
2 Theft where the keys were left in the unoccupied Campervan;
3 Damage to tyres by punctures or bursts;
4 Damage to the windscreen or windows (if this is the only damage suffered);
6 Damage caused to the Campervan by driving under height restricted barriers;
7 Damage to the inside of the Campervan, e.g. stains on or damage to the upholstery, marking the storage units, breakages to locks or catches, light fittings etc.;
8 Damage caused where You have sought to use the Campervan on terrain or in an area which is not recommended by the manufacturer in the Campervan manual or failing otherwise to adhere to Condition 220.127.116.11; or
9 Costs of replacing any keys which are lost, stolen or locked in the vehicle (including any costs of delivering the keys to you if the Campervan is out on hire).
10 In the event that You cause damage to a third party which is not covered by the Insurance Policy as a result of any of the exclusions (whether in the Insurance Policy or listed above), then You will be liable for any amounts payable to such third party.
11 In the event that You cause damage to the Campervan which is not covered by the Insurance Policy as a result of any of the exclusions (whether in the Insurance Policy or listed above), then You will be liable to us for the amount of our loss. This loss may include the cost of repairing or replacing the Campervan, and the amount of revenue we lose in respect of future bookings already secured in respect of such Campervan at the date on which we become aware of the damage to the Campervan.
3.2.0 A damage excess of between £500 and £750 ( depending on your insurance quotation) applies to all claims i.e. You are responsible for paying the first £500 to £750 of all claims, and the Security Deposit will be applied in part payment of the damage excess.
2.1The insurance applies to the agreed Hire Period only. If You return the vehicle late You will not be insured. If this happens, You must telephone us on 01389 750282 and we may be able to arrange extension to the insurance cover, but a fee of £25 will be charged, plus any additional premium levied by our insurance company.
2.2 The Insurance Policy does not provide cover of any sort for Your own personal property, and we recommend You take out Your own travel insurance.
4.1. 1 Only the person(s) named as the Driver and Additional Driver(s) on the Booking Form may drive the Campervan.
2 HIRER DRIVE ENDORSEMENT ( written by insurance company)
3 Notwithstanding anything contained herein to the contrary it is hereby understood and agreed that this insurance covers the insured vehicle whilst let out on hire, subject to the following conditions:-
4.2.0 You will abide and agree to the insurance own decliration
1 The Insured shall verify the identity and permanent address of the Hirer and any other permitted driver by means other than relying solely on the information contained in the Hirer’s or driver’s driving licence and that such person is not amongst the excluded persons enumerated below.
2 The Insured Vehicle shall not be let out on hire to or be driven by: -
a) Hirer's under 23 or over 75 years of age unless otherwise agreed by the Insurer.
b) Hirer's who do not hold a full valid United Kingdom or EU driving licence for 2 years.
c) Persons who have been convicted of an offence in connection with the driving of a motor vehicle or motorcycle and/or have had their driving licence endorsed or suspended or penalty points imposed. Parking and not more than two speeding offences in the past 3 years may be ignored. “Spent” convictions, covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 may be disregarded.
d) Persons who have any mental or physical defect or infirmity or suffers from fits, diabetes or any heart complaint.
e) Persons who have had their insurance declined and/or renewal refused and/or special insurance terms imposed as a result of claims experienc
e and/or have had their insurance or cover cancelled by any Motor Insurer.
f) Persons engaged wholly or partly in professional entertainment or professional sports persons.g) Jockeys and persons connected with racing of any sort.
h) Undergraduates and/or students under 23 years of age.
i) Persons who, whilst driving,
have been involved in more than one accident during the past 3 years.
j) Foreign Service Personnel other than persons born in the United Kingdom.3 The insured vehicle shall be driven only by the Hirer or other permitted driver who has completed and signed a Hirer’s Proposal Form immediately prior to any hiring.
4 The Insurer’s form of proposal for Hirer Drive insurance or as otherwise may be specifically agreed shall be completed and signed by each Hirer or other permitted driver. Such proposal shall be forwarded immediately to the Insurers. The proposal must be fully completed by the Hirer or other permitted driver in all respects. In addition to the usual declaration and warranty contained in the proposal, the following declaration shall appear on the proposal, namely: - “I further agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of the Insurance which I have seen and read or have had the opportunity to see and read”.If the statements and particulars in the proposal are in the handwriting of any person other than the Hirer or other permitted river, such person shall be deemed to have been the Hirer’s or other permitted driver’s agent for the purpose of completing the proposal form.
5 The Insured shall be considered as the being the agent for the Hirer or other permitted driver for all purposes in connection with this insurance but under no circumstances shall the Insured be considered as agent for the Insurers.
6 The Insured vehicle shall not be used for the carriage of goods of an explosive, dangerous or hazardous nature or for the carriage of goods or passengers for hire and reward or any other form of profit or remuneration.
7 Any return premium for cancellation of this insurance or following any other amendment to this insurance will be allowed only at the discretion of the Insurer. Subject otherwise to the terms, exceptions and conditions of this insurance
8 Any payment to make good any error, mistake, false statement, change in insurance contract made by you, any access loading made by the insurance company due any circumstance attributable to you will be taken from your booking deposit and the balance of your booking will be altered accordingly.
4.3.0 Before the start of the Hire Period, further Additional Drivers may be added to Your booking free of charge A maximum of 2 Additional Drivers may be permitted to drive Your Campervan. If You require an Additional Driver to be added to Your booking at any time during the Hire Period, we reserve the right to make an additional charge for this to cover any associated admin and costs incurred.
5.0.0 Collecting Your Campervan
5.1. 1 You will be able to let us know your expected arrival / pick up time on the insurance information form that we will send you. You must still arrive within our arrival terms and condition times. During the busy summer period (May – September) your collection of the camper will normally be after 1030am. Outside the busier summer months we can usually be more flexible, and we can agree a suitable time with You for You to collect the Campervan provided that this does not conflict with the timing of other bookings. While we will always seek to avoid doing so, we reserve the right to change the time of collection at any time up until 48 hours prior to the date of commencement of the Hire Period.
2 You can park Your car in our secure courtyard free of charge at our Premises for the duration of the Hire Period. Any car left at our premises is left entirely at Your own risk and we accept no liability for any loss or damage suffered to any car or its contents.
3 If You are late in collecting Your Campervan from us, You will not be entitled to either a refund of any sums paid to us or an extension to the Hire Period. If You have not collected Your Campervan from us within 24 hours of the time noted in the Booking Confirmation we reserve the right to cancel Your booking without any notification. In such circumstances we are entitled to charge You the whole of the Hire Price in accordance with Condition as set out above above, and You will not be entitled to a refund of any sums paid to us. If You know You are going to be late please contact us on 01389 750282, as we may be able to agree revised arrangements with You.
4 When collecting Your Campervan, You should allow just over 1 hour for collection to allow us to show You around Your Campervan, a joint inspection of the Campervan to be carried out, and for You to transfer Your belongings to the Campervan.
6.0.0 Security Deposit
6.1.1 When you collect the Campervan we ask you for a refundable Security Deposit. If you come from a country that drives on the Left hand side, a refundable deposit of £500 is taken and right hand side is a refundable deposit of £750 ( see 6.2.1). Payment can be made by debit or credit card.
18.104.22.168 The security deposit will be returned to you seven (7) days after the safe return of the campervan in accordance with 6.2.1 below.
22.214.171.124 Please ensure your debit card is suitable for refunds, if a debit card will not accept a refund then the amount will have to be sent to you via a bank transfer. There are charges associated with internet bank transfers which will be taken in advance from your security deposit.
6.2.0 You authorise Sunnyside Campers to deduct from the Security Deposit without any further authorisation by you, any amount payable to us under these Terms and Conditions in relation to any damage or breakage or other costs incurred as a result of any breach of these Terms and Conditions or as a result of Your negligent act or omission accidental or otherwise.
6.2.1 Your Security Deposit will be refunded in full if Your Campervan is returned:
a. On time;
b. Undamaged and in neat, clean and tidy condition;
c. With a full tank of the appropriate fuel .
d. With all kitchen equipment, additional hired equipment/extras undamaged;
e. Only after a full check of the camper and all its equipment and after a test drive has established no mechanical defect caused by poor or careless driving.
6.3.1 We will not be liable for any fines, penalties, charges, costs or unpaid road or bridge tolls incurred during the Hire Period, and in the event that we require to meet these then we reserve the right to seek payment of these from you, and you authorise us to deduct these from the Security Deposit. In the event that we refund Your Security Deposit in full and we subsequently establish that you have incurred any of the liabilities listed above, we reserve the right to recover any such cost from you by deducting this from Your credit card.
6.3.2 If the costs due to us by You, or the loss or damage suffered by us as a result of any breach by you of these Terms and Conditions, is greater than the amount of the Security Deposit, then we shall retain the whole of the Security Deposit and seek an additional payment from you for the balance of the amount owed to us.
7.0.0 Using Your Campervan
7.1.1During the Hire Period You must:
126.96.36.199 Take all reasonable steps to keep the Campervan in good, neat and tidy condition and well and properly maintained;
2 Keep the Campervan within Scotland, England and Wales unless you have obtained written permission from us prior to the Hire Period;
3 Drive safely and responsibly and ensure that the Campervan is under your control at all times;
4 Check the tyre pressure, oil and water levels at least once a week and contact us immediately if any warning lights or indicators (e.g. oil light) come on;
5 Drive only on surfaced roads, with the exception of recognised campsite fields/camping areas. When driving the Campervan other than on a surfaced road (e.g. wet fields and beaches), you must take great care to ensure that you remain in control of the Campervan and ensure that the ground you are driving on is suitable and will not cause damage to the Campervan.
6 Recovery of a broken down camper van can only be accomplished if the recovery vehicle can drive safely to your location. If you cannot be reached safely by the patrol vehicle specialist recovery will be required and you will have to pay for this yourself. It is compulsory requirement that you drive on surfaced road in accordance with paragraph 188.8.131.52 above.
7.2.1 You must use only the correct fuel for the Campervan. Any and all cost incurred by the use of the incorrect fuel must be paid for by you to the garage that arranges your recovery and drainage. The AA and RAC will come to your assistance but you will be charged as incorrect fuel usage is not covered under the normal assistance / recovery terms and conditions.
7.3.1 During the Hire Period You must not:
2 Operate, drive or use the Campervan in any way which would or might violate the terms of the Contract;
3 Drive recklessly, dangerously or without due care and attention;
4 Overload the Campervan beyond its reasonable loading capacity; If you don’t know its capacity you must seek advice.!
5 Smoke or allow anyone else to smoke in the Campervan;
6 Engage in any form of racing, rallying or motorsport of any kind;
7 Leave the Campervan unlocked whilst unattended;
8 Tow any trailer caravan or any other item or vehicle unless you have specifically agreed this in writing with us prior to the Hire Period;
9 Commit any breach of any UK law, whether relating to road traffic or otherwise, in the Campervan; or10 Allow any pets or animals to enter the Campervan unless You have specifically agreed this in writing with us prior to the Hire Period.
8.1.1 Included within the Hire Price is AA and or RAC Roadside and Relay Breakdown cover. If the Campervan breaks down during the Hire Period, You should contact the AA or RAC on the numbers provided in the AA/RAC Roadside Breakdown documents attached to the left hand side, lower corner of the front windscreen. In the event of a breakdown, you must also contact us as soon as possible so we know what is happening and can establish whether we can help.
2 You can use the AA /RAC Roadside Breakdown cover to help repair/replace a damaged/punctured tyre, or the windscreen of the Campervan or another problem not covered by these term and conditions. However, you are liable for the full cost of any damage to the windscreen (including the cost of any replacement) and the cost of tyre damage or punctures (including the cost of replacing any tyres) and any other cost which is not covered by your membership of the AA or RAC which ever applies..
2.1 You are also liable for any and all cost incurred by the use of the incorrect fuel and you must be pay the garage that arranges your recovery and drainage. The AA and RAC will come to your assistance but you may be charged as incorrect fuel usage is not covered under the normal assistance / recovery terms and conditions. If the AA/RAC or garage prefers to invoice our company instead, the sum will be taken from your security deposit. If asked for payment you must pay/make good any sums owed by you for any part of the repair or replacement at the time of the breakdown.
2.3 You will be liable for the full cost of having a stuck camper van towed off or removed from; grass, mud, stones, non recognised camping areas or any such area which the recovery patrol officer believes to be inappropriate for a road going vehicle. This payment is to be made by you at the time of the assistance if the patrol officer, garage official requires payment. This payment will not be reimbursed to you as it is your responsibility to drive the camper according to paragraph 184.108.40.206 Any defect /repair/labour cost/ recovery to a garage or workshop , to or of, the camper that does not warrant recovery back to our premises must be authorised by us first by calling us on 01389 750282. A mobile phone is provided within the camper for emergencies.
4 Replacement Gas bottles can be purchased without authorisation however you must obtain a time and dated receipt. If you do not keep a receipt for any cost that we agree to pay, we reserve the right to refuse the reimbursement of any costs incurred by you.
8.2.1 If the Campervan suffers a breakdown and cannot be repaired or made roadworthy within a period of 24 hours, we will try our best to make an alternative Campervan available to you. It is mandatory that we are given 24 hours to complete/assess a repair before an alternative camper is sought or a refund given. In the event that we are unable to supply a replacement Campervan, we will reimburse the cost of each day’s hire charge for each day’s full loss of hire, unless we in our sole discretion consider that your act or omission has caused the breakdown.
220.127.116.11 Island Breakdown Recovery Ferry Fee's
8.3.1 Due to changing circumstances in the Vehicle recovery market, it is no longer possible to be recovered from UK Islands free of charge. All recovery agents are now charging the vehicle customer the cost of the Ferry ticket for the recovery vehicle for both crossings. However all other aspects of the recovery are included in the hire package.
8.3.2 If your hired camper van breaks down and has to be recovered from any one of the UK’s islands and cannot be driven onto the ferry under its own power, then the cost of the ferry ticket for the camper and recovery vehicle (both ways) is no longer being paid for by the recovery agent and has to be paid for by the Camper hirer (you). This cost used to be part of the recovery contract but is no longer being met by the recovery agent.
8.3.3 It is now your responsibility is to liaise with the recovery agent/garage and book /pay for the required tickets for the outward bound and return of the recovery truck. If the recovery agent/garage has already paid for the ferry tickets and you are unable to settle that bill with them direct, then we are prepared to allow the agent/garage to invoice Sunnyside Campers the total, which will be either be deducted from your security deposit or you can pay the bill directly with us.
8.3.4 If the vehicle can be driven onto the ferry another recovery agent will meet you destination port to resume your recovery. All other aspects of your recovery are still the responsibility of the recovery agent/garage and they will still recover you to Sunnyside Campers at no further costs to you.
9.0.0 If You have an accident or damage the Campervan
9.1. 1 If you are involved in an accident involving the Campervan, You must:
A Not admit guilt or liability or do/say anything which may be treated as an admission of guilt or liability;
B Take a record of the names, addresses and (as appropriate) insurance details of all 3rd parties involved and any witnesses;
C Notify the police if there is any damage or injury to property, people or animals;
D Complete the accident report form supplied with the Campervan, including sketches and photographs if possible;
E Contact us as soon as possible so we know what is happening and can establish whether we can help;
F Not abandon the Campervan without taking all reasonable steps to prevent any further damage or loss;
G Not drive the Campervan without our permission;
H Return the fully completed accident report form to us when you return the Campervan; and
I In accordance with Condition as laid out above, pay the excess due under the Insurance Policy to us.
9.2.1 If the Campervan cannot be repaired or made roadworthy within a period of 24 hours, we will try our best to make an alternative Campervan available to you, unless we in our sole discretion consider that your act or omission has caused the accident. However, this may not always be possible and we cannot guarantee that a replacement Campervan will be available. We will not refund any of the Hire Price, or other ancillary charges, if we are unable to provide you with a replacement Campervan.
9.3.1 If You damage the Campervan in any way (for example, smash a headlight, break an interior door handle, or break the tap fitting), it is very important that You contact us as soon as possible as soon as the breakage is noticed. (mobile phone provided in camper van for you). This is particularly important to allow us to help you fix the problem if possible and also if we need to order any replacement parts for re-fitting on the day you return the Campervan at the end of the Hire Period so it is ready for use again.
10.0.0 Returning Your Campervan
10.1.1 Please return your campervan by 2pm/1400hrs. Returning the Campervan to us on time is extremely important as we often work to tight turnaround schedules. If you believe that you might not be able to return the Campervan to us at the specified time, you must let us know as soon as possible.
10.2.1 We reserve the right to levy the following charges, by deduction from Your Security Deposit or otherwise:
10.3.1 A £25 charge if you return the Campervan between 1400hrs-1500hrs, £50 between 1500hrs-1600hrs, and a full daily hire rate if you return the Campervan later than 1600hrs ( 4pm). If your late return results in the next customer cancelling or modifying their booking, you will be liable for the cost to us of any refund given to that customer. This will be taken from the security deposit

10.5.1 If the fuel tank is not returned full a £10 service charge as well as the actual cost of the fuel required to fill the tank will apply.
10.6.1 A cleaning charge of up to £30 may be levied if the Campervan interior is dirty. This charge shall be applied variable to the extent of cleaning required and is at our sole discretion, subject always to an obligation on us to act reasonably.
10.6.2 We will advise and give direction to the nearest valet service who will the carry out a general valet of the vehicle and wash the exterior. The Driver of the camper is responsible for the cost of this service and will pay the valet service directly. If the driver is unable to cover this charge then we will deduct the balance from the security deposit. We will supply general notes on what the Valet will do when you arrive.
To avoid unnecessary cost the following below must have been done before taking the vehicle to the valet service.
a. Oven/hob to be clean and completely free of food, baked on food or liquids and grease / cooking oil.
b. All worktops to be wiped down and free from oil, grease and food deposits.
c. All floor space and mats should be brushed out to remove general dust, food, grass, mud, leaves, sand and any other type of dirt.
d. The electrical hook up wire should be returned in exactly the same was as you found it. Coiled up and clean (not covered in mud or grass.)
e. The sink drain/slops container is to be emptied.
f. All rubbish and rubbish bags to be removed. (we have bins available on site)
g. Electric cooler and or fridge to be wiped out. All traces of meat blood, food contaminates and milk are to be removed.
Any condensation to be wiped clean.
h. Information packs to be tidied up and stored in the original bags, boxes.
I All pots, cooking utensils, cups plates and cutlery to be washed and dried and put back in their original stowage’s ( not piled up in the sink)
j. Outside camping table and chairs to be stowed in the same condition (clean) and location as found using any elastic cord or fastenings that were being used prior.
h. The exterior of the camper should be washed and clean before return. We will advise and give directions to the local vehicular valet service.
10.6.3 For the avoidance of doubt, we do not expect the chemical toilet to be emptied unless you feel confident to do so.
10.7.1 A £70 charge will be strictly levied if the camper van drinking / fresh water system including pipes, tank, container, pump and pipes is contaminated with non-drinkable water, for e.g. Loch water, river water, pond water or any and all such non recognisable drinking water supplies.10.8.1. A £250 charge will be levied for the complete renewal of the fresh water system if contaminated by accidentally or negligent filling with fuel or any such flammable or hazardous liquids or materials.
11.1.1 We will not be liable for any death or personal injury sustained by you, any member of your party, or any third party except as arising directly as a result of our negligence.
2 With the exception of the provisions of Condition within this document, we will not be liable for any costs incurred in connection with any replacement vehicle costs, travel or accommodation costs or other losses resulting directly or indirectly from any unavailability, breakdown or other failure of a Campervan.
12.0.0 Title/Ownership of the Campervan
12.1.1 The Campervan shall at all times remain the property of Sunnyside Campers and you shall have no rights to the Campervan other than as hirer of the Campervan for the Hire Period. You must not do, permit or cause to be done any act, matter or thing which might prejudicially affect the rights of Sunnyside Campers in respect of the Campervan.
13.0.0 Value Added Tax (VAT)
13.1.1 The Hire Price, and the price of any additional items, as stated in the Booking Confirmation is inclusive of Value Added Tax.
14.0.0 Data Protection
14.1.1 We value your custom and value your privacy, and because of that we will not pass on any of your details to any third parties. There may be some information such as some of our special offers which, if we think would be of real interest to you, we’ll send to you ourselves. If you would prefer not to receive any information like this from us, simply email us and let us know.
15.0.0 Law of Scotland to apply
15.1.1 The Contract and these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Scotland. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts in relation to all disputes arising under this Contract.
16.0.0 Your acceptance of these terms and conditions
16.1.0 It is the essence of your contract with us that you have accepted these terms and conditions in full. By paying a deposit or full balance of the hire price you are excepting the full terms and conditions as laid out in “Your Contract with Sunnyside Campers”.
16.2.0 I have read and understood all of the terms and conditions as laid out in “Your Contract with Sunnyside Campers”, which is freely available on our website www.sunnysidecampers.co.uk or on request by e-mail or by Post.
I am the responsible person who will and or has made the booking with Sunnyside Campers and agree to be bound by the terms and condition of this/the contract I have made with you Sunnyside Campers.
It is our greatest desire that you have a safe and enjoyable time touring the UK in one of our iconic classic campers. Please do not feel offended by any of the terms and conditions as laid out in “Your Contract with Sunnyside Campers”. They are the industry standard and are there to protect both us and you. If you do have an issue with any of the terms and conditions or you feel that you have been unjustly treated by Sunnyside Campers, please put your complaint in writing to
